The problem
The category standard is ad-funded and analytics-heavy: banner ads, interstitials between prayer times, and a free tier paid for in attention. Someone checking prayer times five times a day is one of the most reliably re-opened audiences on a phone, and the apps serving them monetise exactly that.

How it solves it
One app for the whole day: prayer times and adhan, Quran with translation and recitation, Qibla, Hijri calendar, tasbih, duas, a Ramadan companion and guided learning paths, with seven home-screen widgets and no ads at all. Core prayer calculations run on the device. Today's prayer times and prayer alarms never sit behind the paywall, so Pro is an upgrade rather than a ransom.
