Fiji runs on cash. Uber, Lyft and Grab have never come, and the local booking apps that did arrive still leave the two things a rider actually worries about unsettled: what the trip will cost before it starts, and who is driving. Fares get argued at the kerb or run on a meter, and a driver with an empty afternoon has no way to fill it.
A rider app, a driver app and an admin console, built around the price being settled before anyone moves. Fares are quoted up front and settled in cash in Fijian dollars — estimated under 16 km, agreed above it — with no meter, no surge and no bidding. Drivers go online, get a ride offer with fifteen seconds to accept, and confirm pickup with a PIN. Every completed trip records the fare and the platform's 15% against it, so a driver sees gross and net per day, week and month. How that 15% is collected on a cash fare is the open problem, and it is being solved before launch rather than after.
